Ducks and Poofy Balls, Obviously

I can't sleep when my legs are all sticky from wearing mosquito repellant, but if I don't wear it then I become scabby pin cushion.

Yes, I know that is a pleasant mental image.

While we're on the topic, a bartender at the cave introduced me to a fun new word: babia, a baby's labia.

Pleasant mental images everywhere!

With rainy season in full swing here, I'm realizing how shitty the seals are on all our windows. Arf arf. But seriously, it's like the courtyard is migrating into my bedroom. The rain isn't like a nice drizzle either. It pisses rain, by my observation, every five hours. Sometimes there's even a nice thunder to accompany it. Super pleasant.

The bar owner is going through the motions of down season (spring break ending coupled with rainy season) by proposing new ideas each day. Yesterday's was the best however.
For a little bit of background we just hired a new lovely bartender that has a guatemalan boyfriend. Boyfriend is one thing, but a local boyfriend is just a no-no apparently. Also, the last four female bartenders have had boyfriends that caused more than a couple issues at the workplace while their girlfriends are on shift.
ANYWHO, Mr. Boss Man is ranting about how new bartender's boyfriend was at the bar all night during her first shift in bar #1 (note: she has worked shifts in bar #2.) As he goes down the line, the conversation eventually boils down to him wanting to hire promiscuous bartenders that will sleep with the clients. He's a little butt hurt because he is currently the only one sleeping with the pretty clients.
Even if I were single, there are not usually many pretty clients and I can't take up every offer to hang out after work. But he's Mr. Boss Man, and he doesn't even show up on time to his own shifts. Such is the luxury of owning your own place I suppose.

Still have not been to Cuba. Fucking A, but I did finish Bioshock Infinite! Cannot find Mass Effect 2 though...

Song currently stuck in my head: Silver Swans - Anyone's Ghost (The National Cover)
