I'm usually a no nonsense packer, but for a three month trip I feel like I might need to bring some of my own entertainment. As such I've decided to bring an Xbox 360, Cards Against Humanity, my laptop, the entire works of Edgar Allan Poe, and my Kindle. Just looking at that list I can't help but feel like I won't be spending much time learning Spanish. Luckily, the days in Antigua just seem longer.
I'm still considering the pros and cons of bringing my unicorn mask. Guatemala isn't really a place where it is considered prudent to draw attention to yourself. Although it does make for some hilarious photos.

While the unicorn mask doesn't take up very much space. I'm not sure if I'll have that many opportunities to wear it. Then again, when is it ever appropriate to show up anywhere in a unicorn mask?
On a less frivolous note, I have not devoted too much thought as to how I plan to make money in a third world country.

So far my ideas have been either bake cookies or be a drug mule. I have considered working in one of the many bars or restaurants, but the pay is lacking. Maybe I'll just bake cookies with cocaine in them. I really think I may be onto something. Hippies and cocaine cookies.
If that fails, I'll most likely end up replaying the Mass Effect trilogy and experiencing the same amount of anguish that I did after finishing the first time.
Tears everywhere.
And damn it why can't Shepard dance?
